Water Casters
Water:
Water is not bound by constraints, it merely finds the limits of its vessel and begins to take form. The magic of the First Coven has seeped into the waters, the rivers, the streams, the very glaciers and snow atop the mountains. To harness this magic is to harness the very nature of water itself, its ability to erode and mend, to reshape the world around it.
Water Casters exist in an inbetween state, both calm and turbulent, soft and harsh, the world around them forever changing. To commune with water is to look inward, to adapt to the world around you and to slowly reshape it with your own internal efforts, at your own pace. There is a mystery within the waters, its ability to survive and hold within it memories, the very history of the land within its core.
Strengths:
Water Casters forge their own path, they take pride in their ability to adapt and not conform to one way or another. Users of Water Magic rely heavily on their emotions, intuition, and bonds shared between others. There is more to them than just adaptability, there is a sense of comfort and healing with every changing waters, just as they find strength amongst a storm, they find comfort in a misty rain.
Looking inward allows a Water Caster to bolster their own strength, finding a means to enhance their body by utilizing and condensing the very moisture within them. This understanding allows them to not only improve themselves, but also to manipulate the water around them to bend to their will.
Weaknesses:
Someone who practices water magic recklessly will find themselves struggling to fight off the very harshness of the magic they control. Ice may begin to form at their fingertips, their mentality shaping more towards the very storms that shake and disrupt the lands. Their emotions may come flooding in like a torrential downpour as they push to their limits. This type of magic comes at a rather dangerous cost, one who abuses it, may get lost in its chaos.
Conversely, a Water Caster who lets their emotions drift away, that grows stagnant in their practice, no longer looking inward or adapting, may find distortions in their magic, Sigils falling apart, magic unfinished as the very nature of their craft dwindles. Stagnation is the worst outcome for a Water Caster, their unchanging waters having the potential to breed disease within themselves, their very foundation eroding away.
