Air Casters focus on outward change, using their powers to reshape the world around them to align with their precise and defined expectations.
Air Casters are patient, they rely on results and logic to shape their outlook on life, working towards defining the truths of reality. The more one hones their Air Magic, the more they will begin to rely on intuition, their intellect rivaling most Casters. Air Magic exists in a duality, just as they strive for intellect and truth, they too lose out on creativity and imagination. Air Casters favor this duality as even with pain there is growth in their practice.
Strengths:
Air Casters find peace in analytics, they find joy in examining and strategizing their next moves. Where another Caster may charge head first or patiently wait for the environment to change, it is the Air Caster that consumes every ounce of data, every fine detail, and comes up with a resolution that is absolute. Air Magic is not just an offensive art, it exists with its own duality of defensive and mobile practices, the ability to use one’s magic to control both aspects of a fight comes naturally to Air Casters.
Those that wield Air will hone their blade, their magic, till it is the sharpest edge in The Wilds. The effort put forth to perfect and outperform others without overexerting is a key defining factor of the Air Casters. There is not a wasted movement in their fight or strategy, they are calculated in every decision made. The very duality that they train for, they study allows them to not only to perceive their own desire and outcome, but the counter to their efforts. This notion of balance has allowed them to assist the other Elements in maintaining The Wilds.
Weaknesses:
Air Casters that delve too deeply into their craft will lose touch with creativity, they will get lost in the refinement of their craft. Those that deal in practicality and absolutes will continue to hone their craft, refine their blade over and over until the very edge of their power goes from being sharp to dull. The very concept of pain leading to growth has sent some Air Casters to an early grave as they trusted their calculations, pushed their magic beyond its limits, and did not find the results they were expecting.
Those who become too analytical, too consumed by logic and intellect, will one day lose their emotions, their faith, their perception of bonds to others. The fatal flaw of the Air Casters is not their obsession with precision, but their notion of one or the other, and the sacrifices they are willing to make to hone their blade further.
